Sunday program

Each weekend, elementary children (K–5th grade) begin their Sundays together in a large group setting with a time of praise and an interactive and exciting presentation of a Bible lesson. Your child will then have an opportunity to discuss and apply the lesson to their lives as they break up into classrooms with their peers.

Preschoolers (2–5 yrs) are in a smaller classroom setting where teachers introduce the week’s Bible lesson. This small group time offers younger children a more intimate and personal environment to ask questions, engage in fun and lesson-oriented activities, creative crafts and prayer. Your preschooler will then come together for a large group worship time where we worship together through songs and reinforcement of the week’s Bible lesson. Your child will be sent home with a take home sheet so that you are aware of what they studied, allowing interaction with your child during the week about the Bible stories they are learning.

Your toddlers are also welcome in our Toddler Classroom (18 months–2 yrs) where children are first taught simple Bible songs, interact with a Bible story, and engage in fun learning activities. We have a separate room for nursing mothers and another room for infants/crawlers. Both rooms require a parent or caregiver to remain in the room with his/her child. Adults who remain in the nurseries can still participate in the adult worship service via a monitor.

Our Vision

Noah's Ark Ministry did not come to fruition until 1998 when we realized the growing need to create and organize an infant/toddler ministry for our children. It is amazing to see how God has blessed our families with many beautiful children over the past few years. Currently, we have over a hundred children in our Noah's Ark Ministry ranging from infants to elementary-aged children and continue to grow each year!

Calvary feels strongly about the spiritual growth of our children and believes that it is essential that we help them build a strong foundation at an early age. Therefore, we have organized a Sunday school ministry that focuses on teaching these children simple and basic spiritual truths starting at 18 months of age. Our vision is to partner with parents to introduce children to Christ, provide an environment where they are encouraged to grow and nurture their relationship with Christ and share Christ with others. As seeds of faith are planted and nurtured, we see this as an important ministry at Calvary, trusting God will grow it and use it for His glory.
